●根気強く perseveringly; patiently; without giving up [quitting]

・根気一つで難関を乗り切る overcome a difficulty by sheer perseverance; get through a difficult patch by just keeping at it [keeping going, not giving up]

・根気よく perseveringly; persistently; patiently; doggedly; with perseverance [patience]; untiringly; indefatigably

・根気よく働く work untiringly; persevere with one's work; keep on at one's work; peg away at a task

・その大学に入りたいのであれば, 根気よく勉強しなければならない. If you want to get into that university you'll have to persevere at your studies [really keep going with your studies].
